We often don’t think about or realize how plants use foliage to survive. The purpose of leaves is to produce food for the plant through photosynthesis where sunlight is used for energy, water is taken from the ground, and carbon dioxide from the air. This survival process ultimately nourishes and sustains all of us.

Leaves are often underestimated but they are truly the planet’s most unique provider. Leaves are essential!
